How an Author Used BookBub Ads to Grow Sales Beyond Amazon
Learn the experiments and guardrails I use to grow sales beyond Amazon.
Practical lessons from a working indie author navigating wide publishing, ads, newsletter growth, reader magnets, launches, and direct sales.
Hi, I’m Kitty Graham. I’m an indie author just like you, building my publishing business one experiment, launch, and lesson at a time.
Less than a year ago, I was unpublished. Since then, I’ve released four books in my Maeve Lynch Knitting Mysteries series, reached #1 in Cozy Crafts & Hobbies and #3 in Cozy Mysteries on Amazon in both the US and international markets, and learned a huge amount about wide publishing, ads, newsletter growth, reader magnets, launches, and direct sales along the way.
Here’s what I’ve achieved so far:
Featured on the BookBub Partners Blog for my data-driven approach to growing wide sales with BookBub Ads
Brought a strong operational and CX background into author business planning
Successful experimentation with wide publishing strategies
Built newsletter and reader-readthrough systems
Managed launches, ARC growth, and promotional planning
Tested direct sales and merchandise strategies
With all this under my belt, I’m good at taking what can feel like the tangled mess over there and helping authors untangle their processes, identify their next best steps, and focus on the areas that will make the biggest difference.
