Meet Kitty.

Kitty Graham is an Irish-born author of cozy mystery fiction and the creator of the Maeve Lynch Knitting Mysteries — a Dublin-set series following amateur sleuth Maeve Lynch, a tech worker by day, knitting teacher by night, and reluctant detective whenever a body turns up in her path.

Kitty grew up in Ireland and brings an insider's ear to the rhythms and landscapes of Dublin life. The city's neighbourhoods, characters, and quiet contradictions form the backdrop of every book, from mountain trails and fiber festivals to construction sites and suburban shopping centres. Maeve Lynch feels as much a product of the city as she does of Kitty's imagination.

The Maeve Lynch Knitting Mysteries currently runs to four books: Purls and Peril (August 2025), Skeins and Secrets (October 2025), Twists and Twinkle (a festive novella), and Motifs and Malice (April 2026). Each book includes an original hand-knitting pattern for readers to make at home, a detail that has won the series a devoted following among knitting communities in the US, Canada, the UK, and Australia, where Kitty now has more than 2,000 readers across the series.

Kitty has narrated the first audiobook herself and is planning to record the rest soon. She felt strongly that an Irish story deserved an Irish voice, and besides, no one else would have got Maeve quite right.

Her publishing imprint, MacWillow Press, is named after her two real-life dogs, Mac and Willow — the inspiration for Maeve's fictional Westie companion, Nidge. Kitty is also, like Maeve, a knitter. This is not a coincidence.

The series is distributed wide and available on Amazon, Kobo, Apple Books, and Barnes & Noble in ebook, paperback, and audiobook formats. Kitty is available for book club visits (virtual and in person) and author events.

You can find Kitty on Goodreads, Instagram, Facebook, and Amazon Author Central — or right here.

If you haven't met Maeve Lynch yet, there's no better place to start than the beginning.
